The Address donates toys & fundraises £1168 for a local charity this Christmas

Every Christmas we like to give back and we usually support Crisis. This year we decided to support a couple of smaller more local charities.

First, we have donated toys to a primary school where there a lot of deprived families who cannot afford toys.

Secondly, we supported a local charity called The Care with Love Foundation, that helps vulnerable families with food supplies and essentials. In these tough times there are plenty of families who are struggling with the essentials in life and a small donation can mean a lot!

We took the bold challenge of running 100 miles in week to raise money. We set the target to raise £500 and promised to match the donations we receive up to another £500 meaning we would in total donate £1000! We are proud to say we exceeded our target raising £668 in donations from friends and family. This means the total we donated was £1168!

Thank you for everyone that donated and we all feel like we have certainly earned our Christmas food treats this year now!
